Lakeside has been a special place for Brent and Heidi their entire lives. They both looked forward to summers in Lakeside as children, and worked in Lakeside during high school and college. Brent’s first summer job was at The Patio. They met in Lakeside in 1987 and were married in 1991-the same year they purchased The Patio. They have three sons, Joshua, Jeremy and Jayden. All three boys started working at The Patio as soon as they were tall enough to scoop ice cream.
